Finding the time and money to go to the gym can be a big barrier for Mebane citizens. We have launched free workout groups being held at the following times/locations. While the groups are offered at no cost, please contact us first to sign up. You will be asked to bring a liability waiver to the first class.
Classes starting the week of March 19:
- Tuesdays & Thursdays – 5:15 am – 6 am – Bring your own mat and weights/exercise equipment you might have. This workout is a mix of cardio and strength training, all at your own level. Location: MACC parking lot.
- Mondays – 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm – Yoga/pilates fusion. Bring your own mat and water. Location: MACC Civic Room.
- Mondays – 7 – 8 pm – Aerobic dance with some strength and toning. Bring a mat, towel, and water. Location: MACC Civic Room
Space is limited for these classes, so sign up today! Email motmprograms@gmail.com to guarantee your spot in this 10-week session (runs March 19 and ends just before Memorial Day). In your email, include: class name, your name, age, email address, and information about your level of experience (beginners are strongly encouraged to attend!).
